I keep getting 1 and 0 on my pick 8 Keno tickets.
What is the right syntax for warping time and space to make my Keno ticket win?
I used to play the mani musi pi jan lawa pi ma pi toki pona ni: jan li toki e nanpa tu la taso jan lawa li weka e mani ale li pini e mani musi ni. (I used to play toki pona government's lotto (pick two), but they went bust.)
Need efficatious magic spells in toki pona (kon wawa)
Re: Need efficatious magic spells in toki pona (kon wawa)
o toki e ni lipali e ni: o awen jo mean ni sina.
Re: Need efficatious magic spells in toki pona (kon wawa)
In an imperative sentence, don't all the li's become o?janSilipu wrote:o toki e ni li pali e ni: o awen jo mean ni sina.
o toki e ni: o pali e ni: o awen jo (?) ni sina.
Say this, do this, keep holding your ... this. (?)
Here is the Keno Ticket for kupupu lawa pi ma pi toki pona
Re: Need efficatious magic spells in toki pona (kon wawa)
Nope. Every added VP begins with 'li' (I'm pretty sure). 'mean' is a curious autocorrect for 'e mani'. 'awen jo' ="keep".

Re: Need efficatious magic spells in toki pona (kon wawa)
Ok, so, here's my crack at a magic spell.
kon pi kon mute,
en suno lili pi
sewi ale,
o kama tawa mi!
o kama wawa,
e lipu mani mi.
a sina pona,
li pona li po li <YES that was intended. Colloquialism can exist in a conlang, can't it? It's just a cut-off 'pona' to match the chanting rhythm.
wawa e lipu ni
li pana e mani!!!!!
English translation, just in case I failed to say something:
Wind of great wind,
And stars of
All the sky,
Come to me!
Energize,
My ticket.
Oh! You are great <Not in the 'suli' sense, as in a 'good' great for helping out. Almost like a thanks, I suppose.
And great and great and
Power this ticket <Yeah, I skipped out the 'mani' bit, I figured it was clear enough the second time around. Simplicity, right?
And give money!!!!!

This works (as an incantation, whether or not efficacious) "wind" is equally 'tawa' or 'wawa' at least as well as 'mute' (which is more many than mighty). stars are technically mun (anything in the sky smaller than the sun). probably technically 'kama li wawa' but this is a vernacular case.
o sina pona.
o sina pona.
