Please provide comments / corrections. I'm not sure about the last sentence, if I used 'sama' correctly. Thanks.

The days are getting shorter. It is getting cold. My plants are dying. My garden is finished for this year. I am sad. I am removing the dead plants. I am removing weeds. I move them to the compost pile. I am adding finished compost to my garden. Last month, my garden produced tomatoes, carrots and beans. Last year I planted 4 baby redwood trees. Now they are the same height as me.

toki sina li pona mute
tawa e ona tawa nena pi ma pona. mi pana e ma pona tawa ma kasi mi.
according to official dictionary, ma is land, area, but not a soil. to me, soil could be described as ko, or ko anpa or ko pi anpa kasi
tenpo sike pini la mi pana e kasi loje lili pi tu tu
if you add "tawa ma kasi mi", this could be more understandable
