sina kama tan ma Minesota tawa ma seme? ken la sina lon ma Minesota kin. 'lon insa pi ma Mewika' (the collapse of these structures to just the core noun as preposition hasn't happened yet. It will.) 'tenpo luka luka luka wan la mi sike e suno' "guitar" is not a proper noun, so not to be turned into an unofficial word. I'm not sure how to do it as a tp idiom: something involving 'utala' and 'linja', I suppose but not sure what else. 'mi sitelen e lipu',
?'mi tawa tomo sona pi pona ala.' (other messages you could have meant) ?? 'taso mi kama sona e mute' ? (ditto) 'tomo sona li wawa ala tawa mi' (why strong?) 'mi wile tawa tomo sona wawa' (no 'e' with 'tawa' and prepositions generally. so) ''mi tawa tomo sona wawa la' "mathematics" is not a proper nouns, so... 'sona nanpa'. 'mi tawa sona (questionable, but catching on) lon tenpo kama lili' 'mi wile toki (don't need the "to") tawa sina mute' (direct object of 'toki' is what is said not to whom it is said nor what what is said is about.) probably want an optative or imperative at the end: 'sina mute o toki tawa mi'

thanks for the grammar help

1) an idea for guitar could be "hug instrument" if there's such a word for embrace, or maybe 'ilo sijelo kalama'
2)'tomo sona li wawa ala tawa mi': wawa was used as 'quick' not 'strong'. I meant to say school is too slow for me
3) still not 100% on the use of 'la'. is it used to show that I haven't done something, but I will? Is it used to refrence a previous event or idea stated?

otherwise, thank you!

1. 'luka mi li sike e ona' = "I hug her" more or less (some would just use 'mi luka e ona', which is strictly OK but more likely to mean fondle or even pucnh out). So 'ilo pi sike luka' or some such.

2. Context. 'wawa' means "fast" when attached to 'tawa' and the like, but not so much with 'tomo sona'. Maybe a bit more spelling out: e.g. 'tomo sona mi li pana e sona lili lon tenpo suli' and so on.

3. 'la' marks the conditions for the following sentence and there are all sorts of such, from time and place to opinion to actual other events in other sentences. It doesn't per se say much about whether I have or will do something, though it is used for tenses, which cover that. It is used to connect with other sentences before as in 'tan ni la' "therefore" or 'ni pini la' "after that" and of course 'S1 la S2' for 'if S1 then S2' or 'When/while S1, S2.'
