Thanks jan Kipo, I was wondering about that "tawa" as well. How would "toki e ijo X" fit into that construction, though? Would you put it in a separate sentence? Or perhaps like, "mi sona e ni li toki e ijo X"?

In this case, I think I would use just 'pi' in place of 'tawa'. 'ni' serves as the 'ijo' in this construction. But there isn't a lot of usage to go on.

Ah, I see what you mean now—the tawa itself is only replaced by the e, and you used another example with toki to show a usage where you would have "about" as well in the English translation. However, there's still a problem there since you already used "e" before in my example... so I guess indeed "pi" might be best.

Or maybe 'tenpo suno pini luka luka' We vary. No 'e' with 'kama', which I don't think you need anyhow, just 'mi Kama sona e toki pona' (I suppose you could specify you started: 'open Kama sona' and maybe that is the point of the first 'kama', but then the form would be the same:'Kama Kama sona').
