Question for musicians

Post by jan Kapiwe »

If you understand musical theory at least a bit, please answer me: can there be 120 notes in a scale in a way that the highest pitch is not so high that the music would become horrible and the lowest one not so low? You should already know what is the purpose of my question: music generated my text :)

Musical scale is 12 notes. You could use microtonal notes if you want more. Or go to electronic music and use frequencies generator, so you could have all the possible frequencies.

Maybe to make sure the sonority is ok, each word could be two notes, so 12*12 = 144, which is more than we even need :D

I arranged them in a way that related words have related sound. I did it pretty fast, so the order is not that good.

"o kute e kalama musi ni" would be played as "D C# E G D E C# C F A# G C#". Different intervals can be added to end a sentence if needed. This is not for communication, just for fun. :)

Does anybody knows an easy note player? Just put the notes, and it plays one by one in the same interval. I found this one (download), but before playing you need to make the conversion:
C = 0
C# = 1
D = 2
D# = 3
E = 4
F = 5
F# = 6
G = 7
G# = 8
A = 9
A# = a
B = b
