kama pona tawa toki pona. taso
'open toki e toki ni' (speak this message") or 'open toki lon/kepeken toki ni' ("speak this language")
'pilin awen ala' "don't feel continuing"?
'toki li sama tawa utala alasa' "talking/language is like going to a hunters war"?
While still in dispute, it appears that 'mi monsuta e ona' is "I am afraid of him/her/it". And 'monsuta' as a noun means "fear" and also "monster". 76 Lessons doesn't have 'monsuta', I think, but it is commonly used anyhow (pu doesn't have it either).

Okay, here is what I meant to say:
Hey everybody! My name is Nessa. Today I started to speak this language. I'm using these lessons. I'm new, I feel a little not safe/unsure, talking is like a battle/ a big event/ really hard. Everybody feel free to fix my mistakes!

Tenpo suno pini ni, mi open toki kepeken toki ni.
What about mi pilin monsuta lili for I feel a little afraid?

Or just 'Mi monsuta lili'
We tend toward in specific and just say 'mi Pilin ike', leaving context to explain what sort of Ike is involved. "Like a battle" is 'sama utala', as you sorta have; it is the trim that is confusing. A big event is 'Kama suli', "hard" in this sense, "difficult" is 'Ike pali', "bad to do".

'sina mute li jo'
'nimi ali lipu sin''? "newly paged all words"?
kin la 'kipisi'
'nimi pi ante pi tan ni la mi sona al e ona' (or 'mi sona ala e nimi pi ante tan ni')
