need 'li' to separate subject (tomo mi) from predicate {weka...). true for all tp sentences (except ones with subject 'mi'. 'sina' and 'o')

lawa mi li pakala!

The omission of "li" was a stupid omission on my part; I know better than that. (I got it right in "taso sona mi li ike kin.") But when you wrote, "pona taso 'tomo mi li weka ala'", I thought you were quoting my error rather than correcting it. That's what puzzled me, since I saw nothing wrong with "tomo mi li weka ala"!
