I hope I didn't mangle that too badly! What I tried to say was approximately:

I first heard of Toki Pona yesterday...
I studied the Toki Pona book day and night
This language makes me feel good.
I'm certain this community will teach me much.

I wanted to to add that I have many questions, but "mi jo e seme mute" is obviously wrong, and I couldn't figure out any other way to phrase it...

'kama sona e ijo pi toki pona, lon tenpo suno pini wan'
'toki ni li kama e ni: mi pilin pona'
'mi sona e ni: kulupu ni li pana e sona mute, tawa mi'

REad more grammar and more pieces in tp. Write a lot.

kama pona tawa toki pona!

I've found some texts, but haven't run across particular recommendations - being new to Toki Pona it's kind of hard to tell if a particular text is good or not, or what the difficulty level is.
