Resources I found so far...
http://www.reddit.com/r/kamasona_e_tokipona
http://ureddit.com/class/23696
http://www.reddit.com/r/tokipona

The top two links have more google rank than the third...

And there is a meta for kamasona_e_tokipona which seems to be yet another variant of the jan Pije lessons:
http://metareddit.com/r/kamasona_e_tokipona

I don't see how the reddit model fits ma pi toki pona because... every day lon ma pi toki is a slow news day. A google alert search gets about a hit a week and half of those are from the forum.

The whole point of a digg or reddit site is to get community selected content from a huge pool of content to be filtered into the best (with the most votes) from the boring (with 0/1 votes). When you only get a single news item per week or month lon ma pi toki pona, the voting is inconsequential and what you have left is yet another forum.

Not trying to beat up on reddit-- and if a reddit forum does take off I will follow-- an enthusiast can't be picky about the venue if what matters is how many people have shown up. So far the toki pona community has moved from irc to yahoo mailing lists to a forum to shoutem/twitter and has briefly passed through every known possible online social media venue including some that I had high hopes for, like the tokipona dot shapado dot com (sorry limit 4 urls)

Those reddit toki pona courses were done by me!

They are just jan Pije's lessons, and I was more interesting in testing out University of Reddit. toki pona seemed like a good control of sorts for that and I did end up with some interesting stats. U of R has grown a lot since I did those lessons though, I don't have freetime like I did then, but it would be interesting to do another run.
