Without resorting to transliterated proper modifiers, are these the main (only?) strategies for describing food?

color - jelo, walo, pimeja, loje, laso
country of origin - tan ma Tuki
shape - sike, palisa, lipu
consistency - telo, ko, kiwen
main/peripheral - moku, namako
size - lili/suli
biology/food - pan, kasi, kili, (waso, soweli, etc)
ingredient lists (pan en ko jelo-- bread and butter)

Still doesn't seem like enough to nail down all possible foodstuffs, like pomegranate seeds.

Not sure about some of yor PPs, the old problem of 'pi' when modifying a noun. So how is something goo using spices ( and I might have used poka' here but would not be sure)? Not sure how the source of a woman can eat )or, in this case, not eat) anything, I suspect you just want 'taso meli li ... Tan ni la ...'
Last line seems prolix.

The definitions for toki pona's prepositions could use some help-- nothing that a few hundred examples couldn't fix. If we get too narrow in our use of the six prepositions, i.e. kepeken for instrumental, lon for locative, etc, then anything that doesn't fall in to those will have nothing or will have to use a pi phrase and pi phrases are too semantically bleached to communicate reliably. I also suppose that if we wanted to be really, really strict about kepeken being instrumental, then we'd only be able to use it when there was an animate subject.

oops, yes, that was a tan/taso mixup.

I thought my last line was a clever new solution for saying, "We talked about foo", i.e. foo talk was our talk.
