Re: toki! mi jan Kusta
My transliterator: http://tokipona.net/tp/Transliterate.aspx
suggests Kuta or Kusita -- The second is by splitting consonant clusters with a neutral vowel. Of the top of my head I don't know if any canonical proper modifiers use vowel insertion to deal with consonant clusters-- I wouldn't be surprised. In trying to write an algorithm that automatically transliterates I discovered jan Sonja often gets to a point where there are 2 or 3 ways to transliterate something.

Re: toki! mi jan Kusta
I was going to suggest 'Kupa', just leaving out the cluster and going to the final 'f' with the intervening vowel hung on. But there are cases of using vowels to spread out cluster: Elumutu' for "Helmut" being the clearest. 'Course, I like to keep the syllable pattern if possible too, often at the cost of clarity (Kipo fr. Clifford).

Re: toki! mi jan Kusta
Hmmm.... how would I say "firewall" in toki pona?
Clearly it is an "ilo sona". But it is not used only for "utala e jan ike ilo sona" - firewalls can be used for good or evil.
ilo sona suli Sonko li pona ala.
