Post by Jan_Nasakan »

toki! :D
nimi mi jan Nasakan. mi meli suli lili. mi kama tan ma lili Ojajo lon ma Mewika.

Please correct any mistakes I didn't see >_<

What I Intended to say (just in case!):
Hello! :D
My name is Najakan. I'm a teenage girl (lol). I come from Ohio, USA.
I've known Toki Pona for about a year but I'm relearning it because I forgot it for awhile. I think that if talk in Toki pona in this group, I will know it better.
I'm also learning Esperanto. But it's very new to me. I like draw alot, and I like animals.

'sona weka' is not a kind of knowing but a kind of tossing away, so I'd go with 'weka sona' but yours is a reasonable shot.

It is Esperanto not learning that is the addition, so I would say 'mi kama sona e toki Epelanto kin' fussitude.

On the tp website, weka as a noun and modifier means absent, away or missing, but I guess 'sona weka' would then mean absent minded or missing knowlege??? hmm that sounds that mean secret or somthing. 'weka sona' would be knowlege of abcence or somthing. Maybe if I said something like:
Thats the only way I can think of saying I forgot somthing. a! lawa mi li pakala. :D
mi tawa supa lape...

Thanks again!

Your two sentence solution is very tpish. pona a.
No one has suggested a short form for "forget" before that I can find, so tour thought start a new field. And remember that so-called idioms in tp are just someone's shot at it, not fixed parts of the language (though some are pretty entrenched by now).
