toki!
I'm trying to figure out how to say 'I'm alone'. Would something as simple as 'mi wan' work, or should I use a paraphrase like 'mi lon poka jan ala'? - Or something else?

‘wan’ is a typical tp paradox, since it means “one”, “alone” and also “married”. I generally see ‘wan taso’. “all alone” to be on the safe side.

Thanks!
I hadn't thought of adding 'taso'. That should work nice indeed, without overloading the sentence.

Couldn't you also say mi weka : I am away/removed? Not sure if it's right, but I've seen it a few times now.
