Gee, I think I just said that and suggested that your proposals killed exactly that spirit. Sorry if I misread you, but I don't quite see how else to take the notion of fixed rules for construction.

tp-logo is a some sort of "horoscope", which describes a fate of toki pona. It is not a deep analysis, only for note.
tp-logo has three parts of fortune:
  • round -- perfectness, pureness... like a cocon
  • smile -- a part of round, reduced style, occam's razor -- pure minimalism, like caterpillar does
  • sparks -- something out of standard fire, extension (with a smoke/fume, sometimes)
tp-logo, three parts -- three paths
tp-logo, three parts -- three paths
To be happy, it is "pona" for tp to develop each of three ways without competition. I guess, you are trying to follow pu-nasin (fixed rules, fixed vocabulary). "kon" around "kiwen". For me, there is more interesting "a way of fire" ("nasin seli"). Some people prefer a way of water ("nasin telo").

Round -- dao
smile -- yin
sparks -- yang

Sorry, I don't understand any of this, neither the openings of each line nor the jumps to unrelated points beyond.

It is a question of imagination. I see in tp-logo a few ideas. Fists of all, three styles of using of tp. Second, a line of fate: in a beginning tp was like a caterpillar, in a middle of its way, tp is becoming like a cocon, and in a future tp will become like a butterfly (free and colorful).
tp-logo: butterfly, cocon, caterpillar
tp-logo: butterfly, cocon, caterpillar
Our main question is: "how to use tp correctly? ("o kepeken") And tp-logo gives an answer:
  • like a caterpillar -- reducing pu towards real minimalism, because pu is not minimal
  • like a cocon -- keeping pu as much as possible (with slogan "be happy you have")
  • like a butterfly -- to extend tp towards auxlang (jump to freedom)
In my personal understanding, the cocon of pu will be broken... for colorful life.

Thanks, that does clarify things. It ties in nicely with several of the purpose of tp answers, except, of course, that tends to suggest a value judgment in favor of one over the others and I would hold that all are valid and right for some people. I suppose our conflicts, if there are any, are at the butterfly stage since we seem to see rather different outcomes, one freer, one mor governed by prior rules. We'll see how that works out as rules are proposed and considered or discovered.
