Don't use 'pi' if only one word follows. Or, use 'pi' only if at least two word follow ('pi' changes grouping pattern, so needs two or more words to form a new pattern).
Comparatives are hard, but 'mute' doesn't quite work, nor 'lili'. You probably mean "approximately" but I don't know how to say that either.
The standard tp of "Russky" would appear to be 'Lusi' or 'Lusiki' (/l/ is standard for/r/ except for American dialects). Don't know why the /o/ here, but it is very old tp. Tp would not use " yazik" sine it has 'toki' there already. Why nothing for /r/ in your version?
Marriage Certificate in TP
Re: Marriage Certificate in TP
As far as I know, consonsants and wovels must alternate in TP. Perhaps Usij Asik? This is another hard part of TP.
I must go back through my posts to find out where I used just one word after pi.
Take care

mi olin Toki Pona. sina ken kin.
Could anyone pls translate these sentences, just to check if I got it right? It is meant to be a slogan for a "campaing" advocating the language.

Re: Marriage Certificate in TP
'olin' for persons only, 'n li pona tawa mi' for loving things.
"I love tp. You can, too" You say that you do other things beside being able to. I suppose you mean that you as well as others can love tp: 'sina kin li ken.'

Re: Marriage Certificate in TP
Like this:(?)
Toki Pona li pona tawa mi. Ni ken lon pona tawa sina kin.
I am sure it is wrong, too. It even sound awkward to me.

Re: Marriage Certificate in TP
...sounds awkward
Ni li ken pona tawa sina kin. lon is superfluous, I suppose.

Re: Marriage Certificate in TP
Yup! Both about 'Lon' and about sounding awkward. I would say 'kin la tawa sina kin.' for short (ish).
Re: Marriage Certificate in TP
How about:
Toki Pona li pona tawa mi. Ken la tawa sina kin!
That sounds perfect, doesn't is?
