No, kili are the reproductive aspect of kasi: fruit, pine cones, all sorts of things that bear seeds . Actually, I'm not sure about pine cones, since they are not soft and squashy.

Ah! That makes sense. Mushrooms though reproduce via spores dispersed from the gills. Spores, seeds, whatever, they are the fruiting bodies, they carry the intermediate stage in the reproductive process (between fertilization -- maybe not in mushroom -- and planting).
