nimi "wall" lon toki pona li seme?

Post by jan_Niko »

What would be a good way to say "wall/barrier/fence" in toki pona? I have been thinking about this for a while and haven't been able to come up with anything except for "ilo pi open ala" which doesn't seem like the best solution. Am I overlooking some very basic word that I've forgotten? Perhaps the lack of a basic word for this has to do with the philosophy of toki pona, which doesn't seem to support barriers or inhibiting motion.

How about 'sinpin'?
sinpin - noun - front, chest, torso, face, wall
