jan suli lon pi tenpo ale o, sina pona tawa mi tan ni: sina pana kin tawa mi e kon mi tan pilin pona sina. sina jan pona pona.

I give thanks to you, king who lives and endures, for mercifully restoring my soul to me. Great is your faithfulness.
i am no longer an active speaker of toki pona for two reasons:
life is not simple
the language appropriates words from the languages of colonized people

"O existing great person of all time, you are good to me (or I like you) because you really to me give my breath from your happiness. You are a good friend."
Maybe 'pi lon tenpo ale' (might consider 'awen' here somewhere) Definitely 'tawa mi' after 'e kon mi' 'pilin pona' is too vague to do much here and probably doesn't reach to mercy.
