Well, Toki Pona is a context-driven language. It enables us to focus on
the now and connect speaker with listeners in a more intimate manner.
So depending on the specific context of the utterance, you could use
anything except "suli" to distinguish them, such as perhaps their names:

Tokipona seemed ideal at first.
But tall person and important person is one and the same thing
So what if there is a TALL PERSON and there is a much respected
important person in this community?
How would we differentiate?
Would tokipona end up creating compound - that would increase
