i am no longer an active speaker of toki pona for two reasons:
life is not simple
the language appropriates words from the languages of colonized people

Keep in mind that "good/healthy body" would be "sijelo pona", not "pona sijelo"; same for "sijelo ike" rather than "ike sijelo". Aside from that, I didn't look through all of it, but I could recognize at least the first of the (in my mind not so good) twelve rules/steps for this sort of program, so good job in that regard.

'pona' in 'pona sijelo' is a verb to which 'sijelo' is object "cure the body", so the jan is a doctor. Similarly, 'ike sijelo' means "harm the body". But it points out the problem with long NPs like this. tp can do worse than this but it prefers to break such strings into separate sentences (relative clauses as it were), to be more French than German. So the start here goes more tply as. kulupu AA li kulupu ilo e jan mute ni. jan li moku mute e telo nasa. tan ni la ona li ike e sijelo sama. ona li kulupu tawa ni: ona li moku ala e telo nasa. and so on as here.

nasin pi tawa noka luka luka tu

The Steps are rather loosely translated.

Are you sure about this? It reads more clearly as an NP to me... anyway, why no "e" if the "sijelo" is the direct object, as you wrote it in your alternative? Anyway, it could function either way in this sentence: as a VP with the "e" and as an NP with the words switched around, I think. Also in that first sentence, I wuold be inclined to change that last "pi" to "e", right? "[...] to not drink alcohol (anymore)", with alcohol as the direct object.

One of the reasons to use sentences rather than modifier strinngs is precisely because sentences can be more exact about the role of words. You cannot mark a word as DO in a modifier string, since 'e' is not allowed there. You have to rely on context and an intuition about what is meant (which is pretty much known here). The 'telo nasa' at the end is ondeed a direct object of the verb 'moku ala', but cannot be marked woth 'e' because it has been folded into the modifier string of a NP (as in the second version). The rulesfor forming NPs from sentences are rather crude, but that is partly because tp doesn't do it even as much as English.p

Alright, I understand. In that case, I agree with your idea to split the whole thing up in separate propositions as per your example.
