Does 'monsuta' as vt mean "be afraid of", as here, or "frighten"? The latter seems more reasonable somehow.

Good point. I don't know.

mi en lape li monsuta ala.

Sleep and me characterized by the quality of lacking fear in our relationship.

Well. either each of you is not frightening or not frightened, or the combo (hard to imagine) is. But not the relation between the two. I notice the new word list is lacking 'monsuta'.

monsuta word is still there:

http://en.tokipona.org/wiki/monsuta does indeed exist. I can't tell if it's absence on the list it is an oversight.

http://en.tokipona.org/wiki/noka redirects to anpa. Given that there is a redirect, I guess we have evidence that the disappearance of noka was intentional.

I don't think noka can be replaced with anpa. In anycase, I would have guessed noka would be closer to luka.

mi tawa anpa. --> I travel by means of my lower body(?!) vs I'm going down (town).

I suppose that 'noka' is supposed to be 'luka anpa' or some such. jaki!
But it does appear that 'monsuta' as vt is "be afraid of" "make DO an object of fear" but "apply an object of fear to DO" is still a possibility.

moli li lon poka ala mute la mi monsuta ala.
moli li lon poka mute la mi monsuta ala.

moli li lon insa tan mi anu* mi ken kepeken e wawa mi tawa ni mi ante moli mi la mi monsuta e moli.

*I'm not sure if it's legit to have anu here, but without it, the sentence makes less sense.

?? Either death is on the inside from (?) or if I can use my strength to change my death (missing a 'li'), then I fear death.??
