'Montelete' or some such
'wile e ijo tan jan kin' not sure what the 'kin' is for here.
'ona wile mute kama jan lawa' (modals don't need 'pi' or 'e')
'li wile pana … ona li pali...' (no period)
'lon insa pi telo nasa'
'e ilo kipisi lon insa pi len ona'
'kipisi' seems more natural than 'utala'.
'tawa sama kon' (prep)
'ma pi mi mute'
he is not a child of Iken, though jan Iken li mama ona (ancestor), so he is a member of kulupu mama pi jan Anten and maybe even a jan sama pi jan Anten. As usual, these things are not easy to figure out even in English.
'mi poka mama mute tawa... sina mute li poka mama lili tawa … ' or some such
'wile kama jan lawa sin' (no 'e', modal)
kama jan lawa'
'ona li sona e nasin wan pi tawa ni' (purpose, not cause)
probably just 'tawa lupa'
prob just 'jan Melin li lon lupa ni'
at least 'toki kon pi utala pi jan Mokan', maybe even 'toki kon pi tawa utala pi jan Mokan'
'wawa monsi'? “drew back”? Still need to distinguish the sword from what it does.
'tawa poka pi jan Niniwan'
'jan Melin pi sama pi pipi kule'
'sina pana e pona tawa mi'
'mi kin li wile kama sama pipi kule'
'mi tu li awen lon insa pi ma kasi'
'kama sama ona'
'kama lon insa pi ma Piten'
'utala moli lon utala mute/ e jan utala mute'

0)
"noka soweli li weka. lawa soweli li weka." li pona lili.
"noka soweli li ante e sama noka jan. lawa soweli li ante e sama." li pona tawa me.

1)
"kulupu pi jan lawa li tawa insa ma." li pona lili.
ni li sama e "kulupu li moli" anu "kulupu li tawa insa lupa ma".
mi pilin e ni: "kulupu pi jan lawa li tawa lon ma." li pona.

2)
"selo telo suli" li pona lili.
"telo suli selo" li pona.

10)
"insa ma ni la jan li ken lukin e kasi anpa en soweli mute."

'kama sona toki e ni'

0 "noka soweli li weka. lawa soweli li weka." li pona lili.
"noka soweli li ante e sama noka jan. lawa soweli li ante e sama." li pona tawa me.

since I've forgotten what the point was, I can't comment on the problems with the original "The beast's legs/feet were away/distant. The beast's head was away/distant" but I can't think where these would fit in: "The beast's feet /legs changed the human foot similarity. The beast's head changed itself".

1 "kulupu pi jan lawa li tawa insa ma." li pona lili.
ni li sama e "kulupu li moli" [not obviously, looks more like the second] anu "kulupu li tawa insa PI lupa ma".
mi pilin e ni: "kulupu pi jan lawa li tawa lon ma." li pona. But it means something quite different, that they traveled in the country or on the earth.

2 actually, 'telo selo suli' size more remote than temperature, I think.

10. at least 'insa pi ma ni'. prob. 'ke kasi anpa e soweli mute.' 'kasi anpa' is usually "grass"
'nimi' before all quotes.

11. Again, I've forgotten what the original was meant to be, "Tintagel goes down boulderly" doesn't make much sense. maybe 'li lon anpa pi kiwen pi suli mute' as you suggest.
