I realized (and I suppose it should have been obvious all along) that Japanese song lyrics, if translated into tp would remain mostly singable as long as the syllable count stayed the same. Keeping the syllable count the same, though, may be a challenge.
mi ken onlin ala li ken pilin ala e pilin pi wile pakala
la kin la tenpo suli pini la mi kasi
mi tawa tan sina tawa kulupu kasi suli tan ni:
tenpo lape la mi ken tawa monsuta
li lukin e sitelin lape mi li kama kiwen pi telo pi kasi suli
If I cannot love, nor can I hate
Then surely I would've been a plant in ancient times
I ran away from you, into this forest
So that I could tremble as I sleep
And watch my dreams melt into amber Source
