I think "en" in the DO would be a useful community innovation. It would make it easier to order rum and coke. And the distiction between e-phrases and prep-phrases seem artificial. Conjunctions are allowed in prep phrases. I don't have the google-fu to search for "e % en" to see how often this is already happening.
And I just notices this interesting use of "anu"
mi mute li moku anu moku ala anu lukin ala e moku.
Is this legal? (i.e. to dispense with the "li" when
mi mute anu moku anu moku ala anu lukin ala e moku.
