Re: A few haikus
I'm glad you like it. Maybe I'll think about the line. Actually, you guessed my first try of "lon" beyond words. The expression turned out to be correct, even though we both didn't know about it. That's how poetry works, maybe. A greater difference with "fire". It's hard to modif...

Re: A few haikus
"seli lon insa", however not so obvious, may be an NP as everything that starts with a noun and is modified by adjectives. "seli insa lon" would sound more regular as "real inner heat", but maybe this order of adjectives is influenced by English.

Re: A few haikus
Can be even "seli li lon ni", however some information is missing. I thought that the beauty of haiku comes from the fact, among others, that a bare NP pops in once in a while. If there is a particular sign, like say "-", it's clear that it's intentionally a non-proper sentence a...

Re: quadruple haiku
I read afterwards that to make a haikai you should write: 5,7,5 + 7,7 + 5,7,5 + 7,7.... My third and fourth haiku should go together, because of "ona". It's a little easier to split the four into two. They are connected with the concept of time and matter, though. As a matter of fact, it's...

Re: nasin mute
I think that it's risky to go too far in implications of the channel of perception. I haven't seen Australia, but I've heard about it. The lack of "lukin" and presence of "kute" doesn't mean that the information is not worth believing. Moreover, now there are many visual memes th...

Re: nasin mute
I wonder why senses are treated differently. 'kute la' is to suggest a link with gossip whereas 'luking la' doesn't even give a hint on paparazzi. Every sense can give a wrong information. You see with your own eyes and hear with your own ears. Indirect knowledge can come through seeing as well (mov...
