Re: ma kili lili mi
Not just ‘sewi supa’ but ‘lon sewi supa’ “above the plain” New here? ‘taso’ in sentence first position is probably the oldest and most common use “but”. In this sense it cannot occur inside a sentence, so those uses are “only” (or, possibly, “alone”). I’m not sure that was what was meant. It’s hard ...

Re: On importance of "please" and "thank you"
“Please” is assumed with all requests. “Thank you” and “You’re welcome” are both ‘pona’. These are old established expressions. If you want to be fancy (but why?), you could say ‘sina wile la’ or ‘ni li pona tawa sina la’ for “Please”. But, as noted, all this has been dealt with from very early on.

Re: Toki Pona and ISO 639
Well, of course there are several tp codes that need (or can use) custom keyboards, but tha has little to do wit tp. As for not being as useful, I am not sure what that is based on, since I use it for all sorts of things (not Philosophy nor Astrophysics yet but other fairly serious stuff). And, on t...

Re: Writing Toki Pona in the Hebrew alphabet
Since this is all just a code for tp, it doesn’t matter how well it correspond to the original (whatever that may be in this case) so long as it works for tp. You can even write it left to right or throw it Arabic or Japanese. Knock your lights out!

Tidy number system; just too Eurocentric perhaps (but mine is totally English) and needs development into higher numbers.
‘mun’ means, basically, "bright light in the night sky” without regard to what it may be outside our immediate perception of it.

Re: mi jan Lane
I would have out ‘seme’ right after ‘lukin’, closer to where it modifies. It is not a PPP, so shouldn’t be at the end. ‘moku kon pi kepeken toki pona. (modifier of more than one word). Not sure what you want here, but “smoking a pipe”(from the picture), “smoking a cigarette’ wuld be ‘moku kon pi kep...

Re: mi jan Lane
‘mokun’ =‘moku’ prob ‘supa lili pi monsi weka’ “stool with an absent butt”? ‘moku seli li lon supa moku’. (prep phrase can’t be subject.) ‘mm en mm LI wile moku’ no ‘e’ with prepositions, so ‘mm li tawa tomo lili poka kepeken open’ (prob ‘lupa’ would be more natural or ‘lupa open’) ‘tenpo ni LA’ (co...

Re: mi jan Lane
kama pona! A good start, but tp sentences need overt subjects, so I assume ‘MI jan Tosi.’ (no ‘li’ with ‘mi’) ‘la’ phrases only go at the beginning of sentences, so period after ‘Tosi', the 'tenpo ni la mi ...’ or you can shift the ‘la’ phrase in front to a terminal ‘lon’ phrase: ‘mi lon ma.... Tosi...
