Re: Ecclesiastes 1.10 + newbie questions
- Is it clear that 'ona' refers to the preceding 'ni'? P.S.: Sorry, I misread. So, you meant to refer to the utterance 'o lukin! ni li sin a' with "ona". It didn't work with me. The statement that everthing has already come and gone didn't seem so likely to be compared to nobody's utteran...

Re: Implied Verb Prepositions
You correctly understand tawa/lon, but you can't use "toki" as a preposition.SoweliTeloNasa wrote:
Am I understanding tawa/lon wrong and can toki be used as as preposition for 'talk about'?

Re: Seasons
suno anpa pi tenpo jelo Or is that getting too obscure? What do you think? It is the last line of the haiku. Is it grammatically in order to have such an item as a last line, grammatically unconnected to the rest? In the original, it just works as an isolated noun phrase that states, obviously, tha...

I don't know of any established translations. I would try:
tenpo seli
tenpo lete
And for the seasons in between:
tenpo pi kama seli
tenpo pi kama lete

That makes sense. Ok I think I get ' - , + now. jan Tepan o, Are there any words that take : other than nanpa, wan, tu, and proper names? :?: I know prepositions do not (so it's tomo-tawa not tomo:tawa). Oh cool! Let me know if I'm parsing these sentences into your notation correctly: ona li tomo-tawa mi. "It is my car." ona li tomo, tawa mi. "It is a house to me." toki! Great! Thanks for participating. It helps me testing my idea. So, in your first sentence, there's a hiphen mi...
