Re: la phrases
jan Lope o! I'm starting to get your perspective on the grammar of toki pona. As your lessons are actually based on Pije's old lessons, with a similar terminology, you had to adapt them to Sonja's new decisions and grammar, and interpret them as still being part of the old way of viewing toki pona's...

Re: la phrases
Sorry, I'm too stubborn to want to put an end to this discussion without a winner. And it seems he thinks the same way. I don't think he is an incorruptible stubborn, that can't argument with reason, just imposing his absurdly rigid rules. I'm trying to use his main weapon against our innovations of...

Re: la phrases
If you give me an example we can discuss it. tan jan seme la sina pu? (the example given by Tepan) kepeken ilo sitelen la jan li ken sitelen lon lipu. (I made that up) Can you claim those are wrong examples? Just because it's said the words after "lon" can be placed before "la" ...

Re: la phrases
toki a! I think you mean a prepositional object for "prepositional phrase". (I call "prepositional object" what comes after the preposition i.e. the noun it introduces, and prepositional phrase the whole formed by the preposition and its object) I 've checked a lot of correct Tok...

Re: la phrases
Maybe Tepan don't know any evidence that endorses his way of using prepositions before "la", but I found those in the Official Toki Pona Book: 1. Sonja mentions "fragment" as A in "A la B." She doesn't explicit it must be a noun or a pronoun (she doesn't even distinguis...

Re: len lawa loje
I'd say "mi pali tawa pona pi toki ni." since 'toki' alone already means story. "taso (no 'la') ni li ike mute." I didn't understand "mi jo e tenpo ike" before I read the translation. This expression (hard time) means "difficulty" thus "ike". "t...

Re: len lawa loje
Oh! You choose the most malicious version of the story. Not suitable for today's fragile kids. Your toki pona style is comparably good. You seem to avoid common place literal calquey translations and I can understand almost everything you wrote. It's a very clear and unambiguous writing. C...

Re: как сказать "кровь" на тп? --> telo suno = blood
I only see "sewi li tan e jan." meaning "God originated man." or "gives/is the reason to men (li pana e tan tawa jan/li tan tawa jan)". I would think of an expulsion with "li tawa e jan tan" (moved from), "li weka e jan" (make absent), "li tawa ...
