Re: A question about "pi"

Toki! I'm not sure how to use pi, perhaps someone can help me. Here's what my problem is: bar = tomo pi telo nasa your bar = ? (tomo sina pi telo nasa maybe?) Also, for clarification: tomo pi telo nasa pi laso jelo = a green bar? (not a bar serving green drinks (absinthe, I guess.)) toki! The Offic...

Re: Hot topics

So yes, "lili" in "lili pona" is a noun, but it can be translated as an adjective: "small (enough)" For me, two words are composing a NA-templet (noun adjective), therefore, in my understanding, it is forbidden -- the first word "can be translated as an adjective&...

Re: как сказать "кровь" на тп? --> telo suno = blood

Not only is " ni li pi mi " ungrammatical because " pi " has to stand between two noun phrases, the second noun phrase has to consist of more than one word, so a single " mi " is not enough in order to justify the use of " pi ". I've got the feeling that you a...

Re: Hot topics

- mute pona - mute ike - lili pona - lili ike Are these combinations allowed or forbidden in tp? Is "lili" a noun, here? janpona o, sure they are allowed. About nouns, let me take a simplier example first, because this topic causes much confusion: In " jan pona ", " pona &q...

Re: как сказать "кровь" на тп? --> telo suno = blood

Here, we have a templet " X lon Y ". Now we may insert different words instead X, Y, and to compare them: ⋅ "jan lon telo" (man at-in water) -- I imagine a situation where someone is jumping into water ⋅ "ma Atalantis lon telo" (Atlantis at-in water...

pona!

I like how your "oko" has similar elements like "ken", so the style is preserved. Good work!

Re: Sitelen pona glyphs for new and apocryphal words

jan Same o, "star"/"asterisk" for "birth"/"beginning"/"new" is probably not international enough. Maybe. Looking at a (the synonym of kin ), I could imagine an exclamation mark with an asterisk instead of the dot (or "a" in the case of a )....

Re: как сказать "кровь" на тп? --> telo suno = blood

janpona o, according to the Official Book, "pi" links two noun phrases. Therefore "tomo pi lon lete" would read like "house of cold location" (which coincidentally seems to make sense, but you have to read "lon" as a noun and "lete" as an adjective, ...
