Re: Toki Pona Jan

It will be difficult for people to learn completely new words, I suggest that three-syllabe words become two-syllabe, like:

pakala - paka
soweli - sowe
sijelo - sije
kipisi - kipi

etc...

Re: nasin pi linja mute pi toki musi lili

Gah, I got distracted and didn't realize a "li" was missing. Good think I found a way to fit it in the syllabe count. jan ike li lon li ken moli e waso waso li tawa! I like the idea. If this gets some attention, there will be many branches and poems, I think it's fun :) I'd really like if ...

The forum is kulupu toki, the posts are toki kulupu. By the way, I think you meant "kulupu toki anu toki kulupu".

Re: kulupu toki anu toki kupulu

If that's what you want to say, I'd say:

sina toki e ijo tu ni tawa mi:
sina toki e ijo pi kulupu toki li pona e nimi ike mi.

nasin ike is also ok, but it is better to keep it simple.

Re: mi jan Bibijan

In the jan Pije's book, it says that you use the "x li lukin sama y" to say x looks like y.
You said electricity looks like lightnings. How is that related to the context?
By the way, we usually say lipu only to internet pages. Most people say ilo sona to refer to computers.

Question for musicians

If you understand musical theory at least a bit, please answer me: can there be 120 notes in a scale in a way that the highest pitch is not so high that the music would become horrible and the lowest one not so low? You should already know what is the purpose of my question: music generated my text :)

Re: Question for musicians

Maybe to make sure the sonority is ok, each word could be two notes, so 12*12 = 144, which is more than we even need :D
