Re: 3 nights into second life
? 'en soweli moli'? Otherwise, 'pi' is is incorrect ( needs two- word phrase after), but, making reasonable guesses, it comes out "I strongly animalize (whatever that means) a dead animal"

Re: toki! : )
'tawa tenpo poka e ni'. The real problem here is the 'e', which is only for direct object, which only come after main verbs, which nothing in this phrase is. Nobody has worked on expressions like "until" or "since" but this looks like the start of a way to go. Whether 'poka' can ...

Re: 3 nights into second life
Well, it hasn't been used as one yet but it is only a matter of time. And no , you didn't quite say that. The closest match would probably be 'mi soweli wawa li moku e soweli moli.' "I am a strong critter and eat dead critters". You can't do relative clauses directly in tp, but rather have...

Re: Toki Pona board/card game?
Sounds like fun and might be a useful teaching device (not that much is needed for such a simple language). But it is a bit hard to see how a card game, for example, would make use of tp's peculiar features. 120 words -- minus the purely functional ones -- would make about a double deck, so canasta a...

Thanks for this summary. I tend to favor the third version, thouh the other two are more obviously systematic and so easier to use.

Re: meli olin mi
"keeps", "stop" for 'a wen' seems to be a mistake. She is a librarian with a collection of books and films (probablydvr disks nowadays). I'm not sure about 'Lon poka tomo mute mi', though. I think that target is "very close to my house" and I am not sure how to say that...

Re: Toki Pona board/card game?
Did you mean, in your tp, that bigger groups have more good ideas (what you say) or that they have better ideas ('pi pona...)? Both are probably true and are related, but the English leaves the question open.

Re: mi sin li toki pona
Or "the new me talks well" 'Jo ali' could mean "possesses totally" or some such, but that makes little sense without an object. If you want "everyone is the same." maybe .'Jan Ali li sama"'. If you want "Everything is one" then 'Ali li wan' But I suspect ...

Re: meli olin mi
No 'en' I think the compound preposition are nt yet torn free of there copoundedness, so 'Lon poka pi tomo mute mi' 'ma pi tomo mute' not " many cities" but "a place of many buildings" 'ma ni li poka sama' ? This place is near itself? ahah! "These cities are near one another...
