Silbo gomero isn't a practical code even for spanish. It has a niche application (long-distance simple communication over empty expanses of mountain ranges). Out of that that it's just a curiosity.

The explanation is too technic, but the practice is potentially intuitive once learned. Nevertheless, it is absolutely impractical. It is more of a game than a serious proposal.

I like the open / pini approach. For the north/south problem, North has bears and south has penguins. Ma soweli / ma waso could work. After all, "artic" means, literally, "land of bears" from its greek root. Other option is considering north as the magnetic pole, the way compasse...

I think a musical language should be able to be singed. That leaves chords out of the question. Also weird intervals. Some brainstorming. I think the easiest way of expressing complex numbers is directly translating a decimal positional system that everyone already knows. We can express numbers 0 to 9 already: wan, tu, tu-wan, tu-tu, luka, luka-wan, luka-tu, luka-tu-wan, luka-tu-tu. Just spell the numbers in their respective positions...
