Wow! The three-vowel system fits surprisingly well for Toki Pona! Why a non-Toki-Pona letter r is used in the name of the protagonist?
The English /ɹ/ is commonly transcripted into Toki Pona as w (e.g. ma Mewika). So, maybe, jan Awi Pota?
