Thanks for the heads-up on sina. I don't know how that got past me (or anyone else)... As for ali, i've been using it to mean 'life' ever since I started out with TP. So basically when I say/see 'ali mi' the first translation I think of is 'my life'. But really, I see nothing wrong with your transla...

Um, I'm afraid "ike li pona" is the best way to say it, even if other people end up reading it as "bad is good". In my (current) experience, dealing with a less-than-respectable ex-boss became a learning opportunity for me (turning the bad into a good thing). kin la mi wile toki ...

I did my own reflecting (mostly in relation to what I have been through professionally and how I kept thinking about it personally, as reflected in my last two...

I meant to say "I hate you with every fiber of my being" by saying "you (li) bad to piece-me-all", i.e.: you are bad to all my pieces. I do admit 'ali mi' does seem to do the job just as well.
