Re: soweli en ale
jan "Ffuentes" o, toki! pilin ni li suli: ona mute li pilin e ni: jan pi moku ala e soweli li moku e kasi laso jelo taso. This sentence combination is a bit long. In my opinion is this no good Toki Pona style. In the last sentence you have a seperator "e" before a seperator &quo...

I forgot that but I think it could be understood either way.

'location of home yours'. It's not the first thing I would have come up with but it's short. Is it the standard? Anyway, as long as an idea can be interpreted well I believe it's fine.

Re: Grammar/when to use li and e
You are a life saver. Thank you! So the sentence "I played the saxophone" would be "mi kalama e sasopo" and the sentence "we played saxophone" would be "mi mute li kalama e sasopo" that makes so much more sense to me :D Yep but remember that sasopo is not an ...

Re: Grammar/when to use li and e
Surely jan Kipo who is like the grammar expert is on the way but I understand your "affliction" at this moment. It's not that easy because it's nothing like English. Here I come: Li is what you use to introduce the action of the subject (the noun: a thing or an animal, like a human or a do...

Re: How do you say cheese?
From what I've read there are quite a few ways to say that: ko moku pi telo mama, moku (kiwen) pi telo mama, kiwen pi telo mama, ko pi telo mama I think yours is not a bad one but "telo mama" makes it more obvious. Check this out: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1sgG3i6XX4JLEz9qOBB7...
