Reminds me of Esperanto a bit - emphasis in the order. So "jan lili jaki" would be a child who also happens to be messy, and "jan jaki lili" would be a messy person who also happens to be little?

Question - the pu section on glyphs says that "a single adjective can be written inside or above the word it modifies" - does this apply to verbs and adverbs too? so for "I nibble fruit" being "mi moku lili e kili" can you write the "lili" glyph inside "m...

I did say it was from sitelen sitelen in my first post. jan Same has done work on both. My idea was to take the syllabary of sitelen sitelen and simplify it so it can be used as part of the font. Using symbols to spell things out in cartouches is good (especially for names; the choices are important...

There is an existing syllabary though - just wondered if it could be simplified and added to linja pona. jan Same has vectorised it already:

This and the sitelen sitelen hieroglyphs have inspired me to put a bit more work into my toki pona! It'd be lovely to see some of the courses showing some of the glyph systems alongside the phonetic spellings - a bit like when people start learning Japanese they start with phonetics, then move on to...
