Re: Secret part of the new official TP website

I wanted to buy the book when I was crazy about TP. Now, the craze has been gone, and I can't see myself spending $25 on a book about a language I already know with extras, like hieroglyphs and sign language that I will never use.

Secret part of the new official TP website

So, you know the new Toki Pona website, tokipona.org , which documents the book progress. Now, if you look at the HTML code, there is this part in annotations — which is ignored by the browser. <!-- <h3>Support the project</h3> <br /> <p>I’m an independent artist. Re: "Truth"

If you speak a philosophical language, you'll have to think about what you speak! What is truth? That is how nice is TP.

Re: Question for musicians

Maybe to make sure the sonority is ok, each word could be two notes, so 12*12 = 144, which is more than we even need :D

Question for musicians

If you understand musical theory at least a bit, please answer me: can there be 120 notes in a scale in a way that the highest pitch is not so high that the music would become horrible and the lowest one not so low? You should already know what is the purpose of my question: music generated my text :)

Re: mi jan Bibijan

In the jan Pije's book, it says that you use the "x li lukin sama y" to say x looks like y.
You said electricity looks like lightnings. How is that related to the context?
By the way, we usually say lipu only to internet pages. Most people say ilo sona to refer to computers.

Re: kulupu toki anu toki kupulu

If that's what you want to say, I'd say:

sina toki e ijo tu ni tawa mi:
sina toki e ijo pi kulupu toki li pona e nimi ike mi.

nasin ike is also ok, but it is better to keep it simple.

Re: kulupu toki anu toki kupulu

toki tan ni tu: sina toki pi kulupu toki tawa mi.
I tried to translate this.

"Message from these two: you are a message of a speaking community to me."

Huh? :?
