I'm looking at the etymology of some of the words to get to the heart of meaning. From what I can gather.... Pakala seems to be a transliteration of a Finnish word parantaa and ala what about changing the word pakala to paka. with paka ala to mean what pakala means now. paka v. to mend, fix, repair,...
